The collage compares two visuals. The first photo is a dress from the Ulyana Sergeenko Demi-Couture FW2020 lookbook. Another one is a photo of the actress and the Golden Globes host Tina Fey wearing the same dress on February 28, 2021 in New York.
The college compares two images: one from the lookbook with white background in no-space and another one in the TV studio environment, neatly capturing the spirit of our times, in which endless screens that stimulate the missing human connection are becoming no-space itself. The only reality we can be sure about is The Dress.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were co-hosting the 2021 Golden Globes separately with Fey in New York City and Poehler in Los Angeles due to social distancing restrictions amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Fey started the evening in a black tuxedo from Versace, later on, she changed into a printed dress from Ulyana Sergeenko.
